Business Coaching, is Coaching Fashionable?

The word coach is being misused. The coaching is fashionable and is named frequently without being correctly applied. When a television program talks about coaches to quote hairdressers, singers, cooks … we are in a transgression of the concept. These people are experts in their field and great professionals but to be called Business Coach Melbourne they must have received training for it and be certified as such to be faithful to what a coach represents.

Business Coaching, is Coaching Fashionable?

It is wonderful that the word coach is something habitual in our language and that we understand that it is not a discipline reserved for elites or large companies but we use this term properly and we know what it represents.

It is increasingly necessary to intervene as a coach in companies and with work teams. Teams often need a mirror . A mirror that reflects your daily reality, your fears, your desires, your failures, your links, your strengths, virtues and potentialities. Team coaching aims to be the mirror that the team needs, aims to equip the team with greater awareness so that it is better known, so that it can base itself on what it sees of itself, make the best decisions for its future and that of its members.

To this reflection must accompany a strong desire for improvement and change , new ways of doing. Without action there is no change and without change there is no coaching.

And what are the objectives of companies that hire a coach?

There are as many objectives as companies. Each team is unique and must set its own objectives. Yes it is true that companies often resort to a coach when they detect that their team does not have a good emotion, is not a healthy team, is discouraged, unmotivated and obviously have noticed effects on productivity.

There are also companies that want to start working with the team and through the establishment of objectives.

The Team Coaching serves to :

  • Make the team see their own reality.
  • Create alliances and agreements.
  • That a team identifies goals and objectives.
  • That hidden conflicts or difficult situations can come to light and be dealt with constructively.
  • That a team finds other alternatives to the classic problem solution.
  • That a team finds its strengths and points of improvement.
  • Be a catalyst for change in the team.
